Business utility bill audit and revenue recovery

Given the complexities of utility billing it’s not surprising that our bill audits often expose historical inaccuracies in the bills our customers have received from their suppliers. When we start working with you we’ll go back through the last 6 years of utility bills, forensically checking that they are an accurate reflection of the energy and water that your organisation has used.

We will:

  • Validate consumption

  • Check correct prices have been applied

  • Ensure all payments made are shown

  • Confirm VAT and CCL have been applied correctly

If we find an error, we’ll contact the supplier to arrange for the billing to be corrected and for any overcharges to be refunded directly to you or credited to your account. There is minimal involvement required from you, ensuring that you are free to concentrate on your core business.

What we need from you:

  • A single copy of a recent invoice for each meter you have
  • A signed Letter of Authority, which gives us permission to talk directly to your supplier(s)

Our fees for revenue recovery are based solely upon a share of the sum recovered for you through a refund or account credit. If there is no refund or credit received, then there’s no fee for the audit whatsoever, but you will still have the reassurance that your billing is correct.
